A Trio of Recipes from Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce

Lea & Perrins Two Pepper Marinade

2/3 cup Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 cup olive or vegetable oil
1/4 white wine vinegar
1 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 tsp ground black pepper
1/2 tsp ground white pepper
1/4 tsp salt

Combine all ingredients except steaks in a large,. shallow non-aluminum baking dish or plastic bag, pour 3/4 cup marinade over steak(s); turn to coat. Marinate in refrigerator at least 30 minutes. Refrigerate unused marinade. Remove steaks. Grill or broil, to preferred doneness, brushing frequently with refrigerated marinade.

Lea & Perrnis Bacon and Cheese Burger

1 lb ground eef
1/2 cup shredded cheddar or Monterrey Jack cheese
1/4 cup Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 cup chopped crisp cooked bacon (about 4 pieces

In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients; shape into 4 patties. Grill or broil until done. Top off with your favorite garnish.

Lea & Perrins Meatloaf

2 lb. ground beef
2 eggs
1 cup dry plain bread crumbs
1/3 cup Lea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce
1/3 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup ketchup

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl, combine all ingredients. In 13x9 inch baking or roasting pan, shape into a loaf. Sprinkle top with additional Lea & perrins Worscetershire Sauce. Bake uncovered 1 hour or until done. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. For a zesty meatloaf, substitute Heinz 57 sauce for the ketchup. Makes 8 servings.
